October18th marks the second annual No Kings Day Rally—and honestly, I hope one day this becomes a national holiday. This is the kind of movement America needs right now. Not more division. Not more chaos. Just peaceful protest… and family fun?
When I searched around Baltimore, I found out there’s a No Kings Dance Party happening at Penn Station. From what I’ve seen, many of these demonstrations are going to be full-on vibes. DJ sets, clowns, face painting for the kids, mascots, and an energy that celebrates community instead of conflict.
That’s powerful to me. Because it stands in direct contrast to what we’ve been seeing from Trump and his crew—militarized imagery, divisive language, and this constant push toward chaos. The No Kings movement flips that narrative. It shows what the real America looks like—families, artists, and citizens coming together in peace.
And as a designer, I can’t help but think about how much the branding and communication matter right now. Every color, every word, every post—it all plays a role. No Kings is a bold, provocative message that hits exactly where it should. It’s simple. It’s honest. It’s the truth.
While Pedestal was built to help artists release albums and own their work, it was also built to move culture. To amplify truth. To remind artists—and fans—that art is activism. That’s why we’re doing our part to spread the word about No Kings, and why we’ve already reached out to support as a partner. More to come on that soon.
For now, do me a favor—check out the No Kings website. Click everything. Learn what it’s about. This isn’t just politics—it’s people reclaiming the narrative.
And that’s the kind of revolution I’m here for.
